About the Opportunity
We're looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Debt Collection Officer to join our Revenue Team. The role will be responsible for ensuring the timely and efficient delivery of debt recovery processes across Council's revenue streams - from rates and charges to sundry debts. You'll engage directly with residents, businesses, and internal stakeholders to resolve outstanding accounts respectfully and effectively.
This role is a permanent, part-time (0.6 FTE, 45.60 hours per fortnight) opportunity. Remuneration begins at $76.4K to $87.1K (Band 5) pro-rata for part time, plus superannuation.
About You
You will have experience with debt collection and revenue management with strong communication and negotiation skills and posses a sound understanding of relevant legislation, policies and debt recovery practices. You'll need a high attention to detail and bring with you a positive attitude and commitment to supporting the community.
