About the Opportunity

As a result of the continued growth in the municipality, we are looking for a suitably experienced and motivated Senior Statutory Planner to join our progressive, supportive and friendly planning team. You will be responsible for statutory planning functions including the assessment and determination of a range of planning applications, and for providing senior advice to applicants and all other stakeholders. 

As a Senior Statutory Planner in the Directorate for Economy, Growth and Infrastructure, you will play a pivotal role in providing innovative planning approaches to the high-paced growth Mitchell Shire is experiencing.

This role is a Permanent, full-time opportunity with a fortnightly RDO. The total remuneration package (including superannuation) on offer is between $104.7k and $113.4k, depending on the experience and qualifications of the successful candidate.

About You

The successful applicant will have demonstrated knowledge and experience in statutory planning, excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a strong commitment to customer service. You will be self-motivated and enthusiastic, capable of interacting with various stakeholders, and exhibit sound judgement and decision-making skills.
