Reporting to the Director of Economy, Growth and Infrastructure, the Manager Strategic Planning and Economy is responsible for:

  • Strategic Planning
  • Urban Design
  • Development Contributions 
  • Economic Development and Tourism

This role is a Permanent full-time opportunity with a Monthly ADO.  The total remuneration package begins at $180K (dependent on experience) which includes superannuation and the option of a private use vehicle.

About You

This is a diverse role that requires the ability to be proactive, using initiative, good judgement strong interpersonal skills, energy and attention to detail.

You will bring urban and regional planning expertise in greenfield/growth areas and an understanding of planning in a peri-urban context. As a professional and passionate communicator you will build productive partnerships and relationships with internal and external stakeholders.  You will lead and manage across a multidisciplinary environment and focus on building strong relationships with all levels of staff.
