School Crossing Supervisor - Permanent Part time and Casual

About the Opportunity

A typical shift in this role includes using a stop sign to assist school children and other pedestrians to cross the road safely, supervising children and vehicles at children’s crossings during nominated hours on school days, and maintaining a high level of awareness, professional behaviour, and conduct.

This role is permanent, part time opportunity. Remuneration begins at $30.14 per hour (Band 1) plus superannuation and paid school holidays. Permanent Part time position is located at High Street Broadford shift: 8.00am-8.45am and 3.15pm-4.00pm

We also require Casual School Crossing Supervisor for Seymour/Broadford. Remuneration begins at $41.97 per hour (Band 1) plus superannuation for Casual School Crossing Supervisors. 

About You

The ideal candidate will be able to exercise a high level of awareness and accurate judgement, possess an understanding of relevant traffic laws and be able to communicate clearly with children and the general public. You will also possess an Employee Working with Children Check and be willing to undertake a national police check and pre-employment medical.
