About the Opportunity

Mitchell Shire Council is seeking a motivated, customer‑focused Kerbside Services Officer to help deliver reliable and responsive waste and recycling services to our community. This is a varied and rewarding opportunity for someone who takes pride in delivering excellent customer service, enjoys coordinating moving parts, and wants to contribute to positive environmental and community outcomes across the Shire.

This role is a permanent full time opportunity with a monthly ADO. Remuneration begins at $76.4K to $87.1K (Band 5) plus superannuation.

About You

The ideal candidate is a highly organised, customer‑service driven professional who enjoys being the first point of contact and takes pride in resolving issues efficiently and professionally. You’ll bring strong communication skills and the ability to handle customer enquiries, concerns and complaints with empathy, confidence and clarity, while balancing multiple requests and timeframes in a fast‑paced environment
