About the Opportunity
As Victoria’s fastest growing municipality, grants play a crucial role in ensuring that Council is able to deliver infrastructure and services for our existing and emerging communities. This role will sit at the heart of this exciting, fast moving environment.
The Grants Coordination Officer will play the key role in guiding Council’s strategic approach to grants. From grant identification, through application and ultimately acquittal and reporting this role will support staff from across the organisation.
No two days will be the same. In this role, you will be working across highly diverse projects, dealing directly with both internal and external stakeholders. Building relationships will be key.
This role is a permanent, part-time opportunity (FTE 0.80) with a Monthly ADO. Remuneration begins at $82.1K to $91.8K (Band 7 part time) plus superannuation.
About You
You will be looking for a role which presents variety and diversity, being comfortable to work with agility and flexibility across a broad range of topics, issues, and areas.
You will value building relationships, both internal to the organisation and external, and are proactive in fostering an environment of collaboration.
You have demonstrated experience in working on grants, advocacy, policy or other related fields. Importantly for this role, you are also able to develop and implement processes which support grant applications and the management of successful grants.
You have strong written communication skills, being able to support, and where required, lead the writing of grant applications.
You will be passionate about delivering outcomes for community.
