About the Opportunity
This role is responsible for providing support and assistance to the teams within the Partnerships, Economy and Communities Directorate as required while supporting the Director in the smooth running of the Directorate. You’ll be required to undertake general administrative duties including proactively responding to correspondence, telephone enquiries, and managing the Director’s email, diary and meetings.
The successful applicant would be expected to work with a strong customer service focus, providing a positive influence and presence for the whole Directorate.
This role is a temporary (parental leave), part-time opportunity (9 days per fortnight). Remuneration begins at $76.4K to $87.1K (Band 5) plus superannuation.
The role will commence on Monday 18th May 2026 until Friday 11th June 2027.
About You
To be successful in this role you’ll be flexible, enthusiastic and well organised with previous administration experience, a positive and professional approach, political acumen and the ability to build strong working relationships. Diplomatic, with outstanding interpersonal skills, you’ll also be able to manage a number of tasks simultaneously and you will have advanced experience with the Microsoft Office Suite.
