About the Opportunity

We’re seeking a capable and people-focused Administration Team Leader to provide day-to-day supervision of our Planning & Engineering Services Administration team and support the Manager Statutory Development Processes to keep services running smoothly, professionally and efficiently.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced admin leader who enjoys balancing people leadership, customer service, and operational improvement in a fast-paced statutory environment.

This role is initially a temporary full-time opportunity with a Monthly ADO until July 2026. Remuneration is dependent on experience, with the salary range being $76.4k to $87.1k (Band 5) plus superannuation.

About You

The ideal candidate will bring calm, capable leadership, sound judgement and a genuine commitment to high-quality customer service. You will have qualifications in administration (or equivalent relevant experience), with demonstrated experience coaching, mentoring and supervising staff to achieve agreed outcomes. You’ll be confident handling telephone and counter enquiries, able to manage competing priorities and deadlines, and known for your clear communication and ability to work collaboratively across teams. You will also have a proactive, continuous improvement mindset, strong computer literacy across common business systems, and experience in local government and/or a planning or engineering environment will be highly regarded.
