About the Opportunity
The GIS Officer is responsible for supporting the Council’s Geographic Information Systems (GIS) services. The role includes the ongoing maintenance and improvement of spatial data, maps, and systems to ensure data accuracy and completeness.
This position offers a great opportunity to work in a dynamic and collaborative team environment and to contribute to the delivery of high-quality GIS services to internal and external stakeholders.
This role is a permanent, full-time opportunity with a Monthly ADO. Remuneration begins at $70.4k to $80.3k (Band 5) plus superannuation.
About You
The ideal candidate should be a team player with strong communication skills, and capable of working effectively under pressure. Strong proficiency in GIS software and spatial data management is essential. Experience in a local government environment is preferred.
